Can anyone recommend an Audi specialist near Staines, Middx (near J13 on M25 on Middx/Berks/Bucks/W.London borders). I don't mind travelling a bit outside the area.

The problem is with the brakes and intermitent ABS dashboeard light coming on on an Audi A4 1.8SE 1997.

    Thanks,

    Bill

Can I add my plea to this request. I live in Ealing and I am looking for a reliable, competent and honest Audi specialist to look after my A6 Avant. Youngs of Wrotham sound great but are a bit too far away.

    Cheers

Haven't used them myself but www.customwerks.co.uk get good reviews on the BMW forums. Does Audi too. Might be worth a shot.

    Thanks

In the end we found a place called Universal VW & Audi near White City, W10. They sounded competent and charged about £470 to replace the cam belt, tensioners and water pump on our A6 1.9TDi Avant. Too early for me to recommend them to others but I will post here when I have had more dealings with them. The car has to go back for rear shock absorbers - Audi London only had 1 in stock and as they are gas they are classed as hazardous cargo and take 3 days to deliver from Milton Keynes by special courier! I suspect Universal could have tried a bit harder on that - perhaps offered a 3rd party equivalent or something.

    Cheers
