I have just realised that only the rears have the sweeping indicators not the fronts why is that? My last car had them both front and back.

Its just timings. Q7 were the first to have sweeping indicators on the rear lights. New A4s can have both. My thoughts are the facelift that will be coming out "soonish" for the Q7 4M will have the option for sweeping indicators on the front and most probably the new "laser" matrix front lights... Remember, whenever audi release a vehicle, it generally introduces a new technology. Like the latest TT, it was the first to have the virtual cockpit... then the tech flows into the next releases of other models. Radical technology is generally released with the A8

E-Trons work but fog lights no, they think after Audi calibration it should work. Fingers crossed

that's strange.... I know there are "parameter" sets for the headlight controllers as they are available with VAG CAN Pro (VCP). In the ZIP they have the following flash files:

As your lights are brand new, they might indeed need these new MXB "parameters"? Does the installer have VCP?

I think similar to the Data Sets required to get a MIB talking to a BOSE or B&O amp...
