As I said, for all four to fail equally would be unheard of...

I understand that, but what if it's only one that's failed, wouldn't it be the same symptoms was what I meant?

If one has failed to that degree I would expect the cylinder to underperform and the ECU should pick this up as the firing speed would change and would then the ECDU would be able to identify the suspect cylinder and shut off the injector concerned which would then give you a proper misfire. If it is not obviously down on one cylinder I think code is indicating it is an overall lean running condition from all four cylinders.

Ok that makes sense, so I can pretty much rule that out as being my issue just now, it's a 2007 s3. BHZ engine code. I have tested the Pcv delete yesterday, as i closed off all its access to any metered air and there is definately no unmetered air making it's way from my Maf to my turbo inlet.

So you pressure tested the system at 0.5 Bar? I can't quite wrap my head around the concept of introducing an air leak stopping a lean running condition...

Yes. The only sense i can make of it is my fuel system can't keep up with all the air. So get rid of some of the air and my ltft comes right now to 3 I think it was, and it runs spot on.

That was running through my mind as well but I dismissed is based in it was OK before, I wonder if the fuel pressure is low? Not low enough to trigger a code but low enough to not keep up with the mapping?
