    Hi.
    months that I'm looking for a solution to have music with my iPhone on the MMI 3G Basic (A6 facelift 2009).
    according to several people it's impossible !!
    there is no solution?
    my audi A6 is equipped with the phone

    bought then try, this one does not work with the MMI 3G Basic, returned to the store.



    this one, the seller says that it is incompatible with the MMI 3G Basic!



    what is parrot ? , there is another solution? interface? ..

    I have a 2009 facelift with the 3G low. I brought the tune2air off eBay. It’s litrally a simple cable you plug into the back of the head unit. You have to access the green menu and make sure you select AMI on.

    Yes I have the same unit on the left with the SD card readers. I haven’t got the CD changer. I didn’t have the socket for the AMI to plug in the tune2air. You’ll need to by the wiring kit that includes the socket you need. You have to remove the head unit and plug the cables into the back and then activate AMI on your MMI.

    You need to buy the tune2air too obviously.
    Just make sure your into your music as it’s quite expensive for all the parts but it works well!

    If you have ami then you need tune2air if not then dension500bt is your best option

    Once you’ve installed the AMI socket you can just buy different types of leads you need.
