It’s a great thought, don’t get me wrong I would do, but I have 3 jobs (Yes three) so it’s impossible for me to not have my car that long, I’m not able to get other transport due to location/cost . I know it’s going to be costly for a new battery so I’m looking at other less costly options if they are possible. Doesn’t seem like anyone has experienced the exact same issue as me so it’s difficult

mmm OK ... do you have access to a digital voltmeter ?? if so check the voltage at the battery before you start in the morning (1), then again, with the engine still running after you've driven for at least an hour (2). Then again after the engine has been turned off for about an hour. (3) If the battery is in decent shape you should see figures of around (1) 12.7 (2) 13.8 (3) 12.7 If you see numbers like (1) 12.5 or less (2) 14.4 (3) less than 12.7 then it is likely the battery is FUBAR..... very "quick and dirty" checks that are not the normal way of checking batteries, but might give an indication of the problem .......

As above, if still on first battery and it has been abused a bit well worth changing to avoid dead eñ searches for other causes and an unfourtunate incidend where it won't start one morning.

I've found tanya.co.uk to be well priced and efficient for delivery.

I listed the faults in a comment above, can’t copy and paste for some reason.

I did clear the faults but they came back sharpish

After scanning the car with it going into limp mode, new codes. I’ve attached the photo hopefully you can view.

But it’s now got DPF restriction - soot accumulation on OBD2/engine

Looks like the mass air flow sensor This P0104 diagnostic trouble code (DTC) means that there is an intermittent or erratic fault detected in the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or circuit. The PCM detects that the actual MAF sensor frequency signal is not performing within the normal expected range of the calculated MAF value.
