    Hi
My S6 alarm starts bleeping every couple days... with rapid flashing hazards which continue after bleeping stops
If I unlock and lock car all is fine, the car is hardly being driven and is parked in my garage
    Any ideas???
    Cheers
    John

If you can scan it to see what is causing it to trigger. Otherwise it could be the battery voltage dropping. Have you got a maintenance charger that you can leave it plugged in

    Thanks Morski
Don’t have a battery charger but makes sense on voltage drop as I’m hardly driving car while in lockdown
I’ll book in for a diagnostic
    Cheers

Probably cheaper to buy a decent smart charger .. Ctek make very good ones, that also do AGM batteries, charge it for 24 hours and see how it behaves. I am "maintenance" charging mine every 15 days at the moment .. done less than 3000 miles this year ....

Dont waste money paying for a diagnostic, invest in a vcds or similar so u can diagnose at your will. Ctek are great- worth buying one

Good point Omegav6 I’ll look at getting one, car is booked in for oil change and brake pads on Monday at an independent Audi specialist so they are going to scan it as well.
