By the looks of things it's £124 +vat...
    Is that a lot?
TBH, I think I was quoted £420 + vat (for the whole service) over the phone and since the car is on PCP thingy I just figured I'd go with the nearest authorised dealer...
    Have I overpaid?

I bought my oil and filter for around £54 from tps and had the oil changed at a local vwa specialist, vas tech Darlington, for £28. My service was not due but I wanted the oil changed at 12mths rather than the scheduled 24mth.

How many litres of oil does the 3.0 TDI need for a full oil change? Going to be doing a change in the next few weeks. TIA

They also sent me the oil maintenance service check list which shows fill to 6.1 litres

Interesting why they charged wolek for 8litres.

How can the dealers get away with charging for 12 bottles of 0.5L each that's ridiculous when there is a standard 5L size retail and I'd expect they get it in a big vat anyway... Did you challenge that?

I would guess thats the units they sell it in so if you need 6.5ltrs you don't pay for 7. You know how much the dealers want to give you a good deal.
