Just got a delivery which included my transmission oil service pack. Noticed that a corner of the seal has a snip on it from the way it's been boxed. Already contacted seller and hope to get it resolved. But wondering would this definitely leak? out of curiosity

With the cost of gearbox oil I would not use it.

Did you get it from within the UK ? If so then I would reject the whole kit and demand a refund and return it to them. You had a contract with them to supply you the kit, they may say it was damaged in transit, but that is for them to resolve, they had a contract with the shipper not you, yours was with the supplier. Ask for there returns procedures, and follow them, you can return within 14 days of purchase. If they do not want to play ball then give them some bad press...

I actually ordered from Germany but paid extra for "safe order" as if that worked ! But I've just replied to them and told them I'm not happy with it so we will see what they come back with.. I'm sure it wouldn't take much for them to send another
