And remember the dreaded DPF pressure sensor problem!

I've already been hit with that a few months ago

Does this apply across the whole VW/Audi group including Seat n Skoda, 7GN option code means no DPF.

I'd be 99% sure it applies across the range.

    Crasher can confirm though.

Yep, changed mine a few days ago as the engine light came on, easy DIY if you have Vagcom to reset the sensor.

The guy in Audi said they change loads of them so they always have plenty in stock.

7GN is for the A6 only I think, “emissions class eu4 and diesel particulate filter preparation” so prepared for but not fitted. 7GG is with DPF so EU 4 “exhaust gas concept with particle filter” and so is 0GG, 7MG, 7MB, I got bored after that.

Is that right, Chris? I've got a 2007 30.TDi TDV with 233PS, and the data sheet for it includes the following code and description:

"7GN Emission Standard, EU4, DPF Preparation".

Should I conclude from this that my car is not fitted with a DPF?
A4 3.0TDi SE Quattro Tiptronic in Quartz Grey.
