    Are these original discs?? or copied?? only reason ask some duplicates don't function correctly and sellers advertise as orig, tell tell sign printable label on front, flip side not silver like printed/pressed disc...

    ok bad news
    put disc one in and re try

    try disc 3 if it still wont play



    swap the cd changer from another vehicle and re run disc 1

    the mmi head unit is bricked and could well be the fault with the bluetooth not connecting as well so looking on the brightside you have found the fault

    Any way to just disconnect it? Ie fuse? I need the battery connected again!

    as above it stays in bootloader then you need a diagnostic loop scan I think the address 07 mmi head unit has failed or was the problem in the first place

    if you have a post vcds scan please upload it

    if you use another cd changer it will be in component protection but will still run the discs

    however the mmi head or cd changer if replaced will need online connection to release cp and then encoding for vehicle spec

    until resolved you need to leave the battery disconnected because bootloader will drain it

    Sorry to pick your brains... is MMI that much integrated that say if pulled fuses/power from certain modules car be not be usable...

    feel so bad for you bazzaric ... I thought when a8 tech found your BT module and the highlight of Eng.mode this would be a cracking thread.. of success..
