Hi - hope someone can help please. My A6 avant oil sensor warning light (yellow) has come on. Also the door mirror adjusters and the heater controls have gone off. The fuse that controls these has blown and keeps blowing. I have had the oil sensor replaced and this seemed to solve the problem, but it has gone again. Has anyone got any ideas? I thought about randomly disconnecting things to see if the fuse held.

Can't remember off the top of my head - it wasn't obvious from the diagram. Lashing down with rain and dark now - will look tomorrow and post. Thanks for replying.

Hi - managed to get out in between showers to look at the car. The fuse is number 5, a ten amp fuse that says it runs KL15 display. Seems to take out the heater controls, door mirror controls, the oil sensor and the radio display on the dash. I have replaced the fuse (again!) and this time it seems to be holding. Would appreciate any ideas

    Hi.

    Seems like iīve fixed mine.
i have the 2,5tdi, my diesel return lines have been bad for a while so they have been leaking down on my right engineside, result:
Oilsensor, power generator sensor, enginmount sensor was bathing in dieselmudd..
took of the front plastic bellypan shield and give it all a nice crc eletric cleaning
and now everything is back to normal for now..

if it blows again, iīll be back
