Door Courtesy Lights

Hi,

Does anybody know whether these lights are optional extras? Its the light inside the edge of the door opposite the tyre pressure sticker. I think I just have reflectors but maybe the wiring is there for a bulb? Retrofit possible?

It was an optional extra, came with the additional interior illumination pack in most cases I think.

A few people have retro'd them, just wire them into the interior light circuit so the come on together.

These came standard on the SE and Sport models i thought?

My B6 1.9 TDi didnt have them. Nor does my current B7!

I've got a 53 plate 130Tdi SE and they are just reflectors on all 5 doors

my 03 sport has little red lights in the doors, no footwell lights though they look standard but dunno if they where fitted as standard fitting on this one

My Sport has the door lights... but no footwell lights..

Footwell lights....part of the int.light pack !

Mine is a SE. I don't have the vanity mirror lights either which is a bit poor for a SE!

A friend of mine has a sport and he has the door lights so i guess its standard on sport models. Should be standard on all models!

I believe interior ambient light packs can be retro-fitted for front and rear.
