Need to know how much it would be to replace both front wings and get them sprayed and fitted please, would this be an easy job to do? and how much would a garage charge for the job.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Cheers andy

depends what finish you want. most factors can supply wings fairly cheaply, and a body shop could then spray them in. the fit of the wings may not be perfect and the paint may not match 100%, but it would be acceptable. genuine wings will cost more, but be a better fit, but then its again down to the paint job. like i say, it depends on what you want the end result to be, and how much you want to spend.
welcome to the forum as well.

yes, go to a VW main dealer if it is <12 years old, say it has the WELL KNOWN rusty wing issue and let them sort it. If it is more than 12 years old your prob looking at £3-400 for 2 wings fitted and sprayed. Or get some from a scrappy in the right colour. They only bolt on I believe (they certainly do on the Passat) there is another post here too How to get rusty front wings replaced by volkswagen

It really is a "how long is a piece of string"question. Do you want genuine wings at £140 each or pattern ones at £45 or really nasty things at £30? Then the paint. Do you want a quick flash over that may/may not match or a perfect finish with the shuts and the rear side painted in and then the wing fitted and painted on with possible blending to match and then full wax sealing from behind to manufacturers spec? Literally you could go from absolute rock bottom quality job at £110 and fit the parts yourself up to VW warranty correct specification replacement so £280 for wings, £26 for fitting kits, 4.5 hours strip down and rebuild labour, 3 hours to paint the wings and the price of paint and materials (primer, base coat and lacquer) plus waxing and blend polishing say another 3 hours so roughly £1300. That by the way is the retail cost per car of the warranty work VW are doing on cars less than 12 years old, I bet that is denting their bottom line!
