Returning to the brand

Hi All,

I will hopefully be returning to the VW Audi Brand, after having been tempted away to discounts on Ford's I got through work! (Never again!!)
I am currently looking for an A4 Convertible, to replace my Mondeo ST TDCi. ( any advice on what to look for much appreciated)

As I said, I am returning to the brand as the 2 best cars I have ever owned were VW Audi's.

My first was an Immaculate 1989 Mk2 Golf GTI 8v in Black, (small bumper Model). When I bought it was completely standard, with original steel wheels. I added a nice set of alloys, performance exhaust and Half smoke rear lights. Sold it with over 135K miles on and it still felt and looked like new.

My second was my favourite car ever, a 1998 (S) Audi S4 2.7 Bi-Turbo. I managed to find this one privately in 2003, when it had only done 18K miles from new. The guy had kept it immaculate. It was Negaro Blue, with Matching Blue Alcantara and black leather. even had an S4 plate on from new.

Had to get rid of it in 2005, as needed a more economical car, in order to buy a house, would love to have kept this!!

Now hopefully if I can find one (without a worn out drivers seat), I will soon be back in the club with an A4 Convertible (2002 - 2004).

Looking forward to using the forum and hope to get to some events next year!!!
