    hi all is the iat sensor on my 1.6 i abm engined l reg 80 situated in the end of the airfilter box?thanks

    Hi.
    I am unsure what you mean by the iat sensor, but inside the top of the air filter housing there is the "Idle stabilization valve" it has two pipes and one electrical connection, the pipes go to either side of the throttle flaps (one at air pressure one at manifold depression) The lead goes to the ECU to control airflow at idle. These valves do go faulty and are around £100
