I have to renew my breakdown cover. I've been with the AA (currently with) and green flag who I didn't think much off.

The only thing putting me off going back to the AA is the fact that I got a quote for £75 off their internet site, and when I rang up they tried to charge me me a £120 which they eventually dropped down to £76.50p.

I'm looking for the equivalent of the relay package. Any suggestions?

I used to be with Green Flag. They saved me once, and offered a good service but ended up being dearer than the rivals.

I'm currently with the AA, on their "single cover" deal which costs £39.75 online for 12 months cover. It covers me, the person, whatever car I'm in, whether I am driving it or not. 365 days a year call-out.

I used to be with the RAC thought they were pretty good and they covered the person even covered my motorbike. I used my tesco clubcard points to pay for it which was brilliant. I now get free breadown cover with the Royal Bank of Scotland think its Green Flag but never had to use them Thankfully

    I'm covered with AutoAid.

    For £37, I've got:

    Emergency roadside repairs
    Recovery
Home breakdown cover (to maximum of £65)
    Alternative travel cover
    Stolen/Recovered cover

I'ts a pay and claim service, so you pay for the repair / recovery, then claim it back from them.

I've used it for recovery twice (broken driveshaft, and immobiliser stuck on - both on the old Renault), and they were very quick to reimburse me.
