Hi i wonder if anyone can point me in the right direction please? i have a passat sport estate 02 reg,the rear wiper stopped working so i checked the fuse, even swapped it with another, the wiper still didnt work, removed the tailgate trim, switched ignition on switched rear wiper on and checked with a meter there is no power getting there so thought maybe its a relay,i have checked my hand book and the haynes manual neither tells you or has a photo to show where the relays are on the car so im stuck, does anyone know where they are on the car,or have a photo of the location please, cheers

    I maybe wrong but.
In the Case of a B6 Audi, the relay is built into the rear wiper motor.
I'm having a mare with my A4 RWM, and have carried out diags to find the relay is FUBAR.
sadly a new motor will sort my problem out.
    Maybe yours too!

I don't think the wiper uses a relay. Check the switch to see if that has power. You may have a broken wire, common place is where it passes from body to tailgate.

On a 1996 golf - it IS controlled by a relay. No.72 on the board.

Maybe of course be different in later models.
