Anyone familiar with these? I have been using it successfully to read engine fault codes but have a friend with an A3 where the ESP warning light is constantly on.

Not sure if my diagnostic tool can read the fault codes and not sure where I should be looking. Is it the ABS module?

Also is the A3 non can bus or a mixture? I read the engine management fault codes easily on non can bus.

Just plug it in and see if it communicates should work ok,read codes as normal, the instruction manual is poor though, could be wheel sensor or steering angle sensor.
