    Hi
I will be fitting a towbar and twin electrics to my passat 05 estate at the weekend, I was going to run a cable from the battery for the split charge relay (TEC3M), but noticed that in the boot of the car are 2 12v sockets, Do you think i could use this power supply instead of running a cable to the battery??
    Thanks
    Rick.

It should have a 20 amp fuse so you should be fine. You need to make a good quality joint to keep resistance to a minimum.
