Has anybody got experience of a MAXXRAXX Premier bike carrier fitted to a swan neck or flanged towbar on a Passat Estate (07)?
The design of the carrier looks good - it carries upto 5 bikes, tilts to allow access to boot and you can tow when it is fitted - sounds almost too good to be true views appreciated before i buy...

No responses - so I went & bought one anyway. It was fitted to the removable tow bar i had fitted by Doncaster Towbar Center & it does exactly what it says!
No problems fitting the rack, no problems fitting the bikes. It folds down to leave the boot to open fully(estate so needs clearance) and plenty of clearance from our trailer tent.
I would highly recommend this system over the strap on type of rack which i have used for 10years. You just get the feeling that the bikes will make it to the desitination....
If anybody wants them i will post/send photos.
