average mpg tdi 100bhp?

hi my missis has a tdi 100bhp and i was concerned about the mpg

on a run it only does around 45mpg

i have a golf gtdi (i think 115) and it can do 55mpg+ on a run


can anyone tell me what they get on a run with a 100bhp, i would have thought the 100bhp would be more economical than the 115bhp, plus the 100bhp feels so slow compared to the 115, im thinking theres something wrong somewhere....

Should be getting nearer the 50mpg mark, however these are always ideal scenario conditions, such as constant 56mph, no harsh braking or acceleration.

Might be worth checking tyre pressures and air filter condition.

You don't have a Thule roof box fitted by any chance?

tyre pressure good and no harsh driving and no roof box either??

think it may need a plug in....

Try some injector cleaner, such as Reddex, meant to help decrease fuel consumption.
