    hi all,

Just a quick question, I've been searching for a door for my Passat since summer after someone hit mine, but I want one the same colour as I don't want to pay for a respray. I've found a passat being broken on ebay and as luck would have it, it seems to be the same colour. Unfortunatley the paint code isn't in the spare wheel well where it should be. Can you find out the paint code by any other means? The registration, chassis number maybe? Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Look in your boot by the spare tyre. There should be a label with the paint code.

    Oops!

Front page of your manual or, post a picture here and someone will know.

What plate is it on, and what rough colour is it?
