    Hi, Can anyone tell me where to start looking for a fix , my Cruise control doesnt come on anymore,Stalk switch there is a definate click when operated but NO light or operation.
    cheers for any advice pigin

    checked hand book,useless,pic doesnt show cruise control fuse, will look in Haynes today,

    Check your brake light and clutch switches are operating correctly as a fault in either of theses will dis-able cruise control.

    A quick scan with VAG-COM would point you in the right direction rather than guessing.

    No luck in Haynes manual,cant find a fuse for it,any help,most appreciated.

    Still no luck with fuse location,will look tomorrow at brake/clutch switches,off to work now,night shift ..yuk

    Checked both brake and clutch switches,both work correctly,Still no joy on the fuse for cruise control

    Hi, Dont know if ive wasted my money,bought a Car Diagnostic Tool U281 memo scanner, The fault codes it came up with are not in theie Manual,yypical eh ?

    Anyone know the code meanings..listed

    There wont be a fuse for cruise on its own, it'll be covered by another system fuse, if everything else in the car works ok then I'd say fuses can be ruled out. If your convinced that both pedal switches are good, (how did you test them both?) then you really need access to VAG-COM as this can scan the car properly and also test/verify operation of the pedal switches and the stalk itself.

    Without doing this, its all just guess work.
