    Hi

Firstly hello to everyone, seems like a cool forum! I wonder if anyone can help me to shed any light on a problem I have.

The air blower on my mk4 golf stopped working a few days ago. Switch was on full speed but no air circulation in the cabin. I've found that after leaving the car overnight, the blower will then function as normal in the morning, as if something resets itself overnight. Then after prolonged use it will stop working again until the next day

I have also noticed that when the blower does function, after using for 10mins or so, it starts to make a niose as if something is slipping or parts are contacting each other.

Would appreciate any info on what could be at fault.

Sounds like it could be a faulty fan. Bearings go on them. If you take the trim down under the glovebox it will unscrew, only held in by about 3 bolts, spin it up when it out of the box and see if it noisy.

    Hope this helps
