    when i try to do the test it comes up saying interface not found
    anyone know what im doing wrong

    More details required.

    What version VAG-COM software are you using? Serial or USB? What cable do you have? Where did you get the cable from? If it was from Ebay, did you get the drivers for that cable and install them correctly?
