Hi all , i am fairly new to fourms....still live in the dark ages !

Hopefully someone can help with this... i have just bought an Audi TT 3.2 ...fantastic car but one small problem , the dealer has "mislaid" the radio code for the Concert radio...is it possible to obtain the code through the fourm with a clever bit of decoder software , i have the radios serial number.

I did speak to Audi , they want 38 quid to look up the code on their data base ...bit steep in my mind ,hence trying this route.

I have seen various bits of software on ebay but i am some what doubhting their effectivness

    please help

The Ebay decoders don't work. Go back to your dealer. but check the owners handbook first, just in case its still in the front of it...

I'd ask the dealer (whom I'm guessing aren't an Audi dealer) to pay for that.

I'd first ask the dealer too... If they fails try yell.com and just search for "In Car Audio" and have a quick call around.

I found someone local to me:

Look at your audi Concert stereo handbook.
It states that if the code is lost, Audi will provide you with it free of charge.

Take the book in with you and show them. I plan to do this, this weekend.

    Oh and welcome.
