A little bit about me

Hi Everyone

Just to few lines seeing as I'm a first-timer.
I've been an Audi fan for a lifetime and always enjoyed seeing their expertise in the brand.
In my eyes, Audi's are a well engineered and fun to drive.
I have worked around Audi VW's for about 30 years, but for the past 7 years I have come out of touch.
Hope to join in, in the near future when possible.
Now running a '97 A6 1.8T AEB engine, so will need future advice soon

and a warm welcome to you sir what was you doing around audis and vw perhaps you could help some of us out ask anything you like there are a lot of clued up people on who can no doubt help you out

Hi i worked as a technician for three VAG agents then i opened my own garage in 1988 and from 1994 started mot testing station i employed seven staff unfortunatly in 2004 i had to sell my business due to ill health i came across this site whilst searching for info about my A6 so i decided to join and maybe some help to others along the way thanks for your message sbt cheers 1551 kevin.

Hello chris i had a 3.2 fsi tip quattro with 19 inch rs6 alloys boot spoiler rear bumper defuser with cream nappa leather and light teak wood i also went for dvd sat nav and tv voice activation bose sound sunroof and four spoke steering wheel loved it best car i have owned. Prior to that i bought a 3.0ltr audi cab only had it for two months 730 miles then took it back to the main dealer and ordered the A6 never looked back the reason i changed the cab was i felt as though i had bought a second hand car when it was new it seemed so dated.
