flashing glow plug light

hi all,
i have a 03 plate 2.4 d transporter. the glowplug light started to flash and i noticed the side light bulb was out so have changed it but it is still flashing, can anyone help.

hi thanks but in hertfordshire, will it be best to get it read as it flashes constantly now?

This is usually caused by a brake light switch fault. Are your brake lights working?

....That's the simple and easy fix, if not, get it read for faults and I hope it is nothing expensive.

Its a common fault, if its defo not the brake light switch it will be the glow plug relay.

hi had it to the dealer on sat said it was the injector was at fault and just ran cleaner through it.
