    Default 2006 (56) A3 2.0 tdi s line – 31-03-2015,09:51 PM
    I've recently purchased a 56 plate A3 2.0 tdi and alls good until I hit 70-80 mph then it feels as though the turbo isnt working And continues to feel like a loss in power(feels like a non turbo)through the gears and Rev range
    until I switch it off and restart it then all is normal until I get to 70-80 mph again
    could anyone enlighten me on the cure(s) for this problem

    Limp mode, scan the car for faults.
    It's most likely a coked up turbo.
    A4 2.5 tdi QS (mapped)

    Is it possible to unchoke with a turbo cleaner?
    would I need to reset anything?

    First thing to do is scan for logged fault codes.
    A4 2.5 tdi QS (mapped)

    I have no diagnostics equipment to fault find
    it is in for a full service on Tuesday would it be possible they would check and find the fault
    sorry for the stupid questions but I'm not clued up on these engines

    Tried some dpf cleaner and took out for a run yesterday
    working fine so far
