    technology eh? Why don't cars automatically shut off the engine when oil pressure drops, that would maybe be useful

    That would make far too much sense buddy, I remember a few years ago going to mutec on the naas road with 6 other lads to collect 7 brand new actros tractor units, we were all heading back across the m50 when one by one they all stopped along the road, all of them had been left low on oil so the computers shut the trucks down. Was an easy fix, 2 five gallon drums of oil but it did not look good for mercedes, 7 brand new trucks broke down within a mile of each other...lol

    i eventually got this sorted there was a blockage in the pipe which releases air from the tank.. easiest way to get to it is remove the wheel under the fuel cap then remove the inner arch... you will see access to a pipe and a joiner there.. separate it.. and in my case a drop of fuel came out i then blew it out and removed some gunk join it back together and hey presto sorted
