Sidelight Issues 2002 1.8 Quattro 225

Hi guys,

I have an issue with my front sidelight, the bulb is fine as it has come on a couple of times. It seems as though there is a bad connection, but when jiggling the wire around, nothing happens. But on one occasion when I'd balanced it so I could go and turn the lights on, it fell and came on for a second. So the obvious answer would be a bad connection, but as I say jiggling them around all ways does nothing.

Anyone else had a similar issue with theirs by any chance? I dread to think what it will cost for an auto electrician to take a look.

Or you could have a dying bulb.
Try a new one...

or a bad connection where th bulb sits, so try a new one as kite says first.

Thanks for the replies, I didn't realise you could get a dying bulb if I'm honest. I thought they either worked or they didn't lol. I'll try a new bulb first.
