Audi A6 C7 Ambient lighting?

Hello, newbie here with a A6 3.0bitdi avant 2013,
recently sold my A7 which had the 245 bhp engine, but had a higher interior spec.
question is I've got VDCS, can you enable interior lighting I.e the lights under the dash with VDCS ?
i had an A5 which I previously did this on .

From what I have read the lighting pack and ambient lighting pack add leds that aren’t otherwise there. Not sure if the pack(s) share footwell bulbs with the standard ones, but this post gives info and scans (and links to scans) from the basic and lighting pack setups:

One of the prime differences between lighting and ambient packs is I believe the the latter swaps the standard lamps for LEDs. Not sure if that helps at all though.

Yes you can. Ive done it on mine. Cant remember if you need to activate it first in the MMi hidden menu and then do it vcds. But definitely doable. I also fitted the door and centre console ambient lighting. Gives it a very nice glow in the cabin at night.

As morski says, you can activate the interior lighting menu via VCDS & MMI hidden menu - see the VCDS tricks thread. This will allow you to adjust the brightness of the footwell lights while driving. If you have the lighting pack it will illuminate the door trims as well.

The original lighting options were:
Standard: Incadescent interior lighting, puddle lights in front doors, LED footwell lights,
Lighting pack: illuminated upper door trims, LEDs in exterior door handles, red warning lights in doors, LED puddle lights all round.
Ambient lighting pack (which gives the "interior lighting" menu as standard): Full LED interior lighting, illuminated door bins, centre console and door sill trims.
