Noticed this morning that my passenger side folding mirror didn't fold out but the driver's one did.

I tried to gently wiggle it free and after a while the mirror moved very freely by hand and stopped past the normal open position and just stayed stuck there instead. now when I operate the switch I can see that it is trying to move the housing but isn't able to in either direction. The mirror up,down/left,right and heating is working as normal.

Anyone had this issue who can offer any advice?

I was thinking the same but hoped someone might have a solution. Only bought the car last week but at least it's under warranty

I had the same issue and still do every so often. What I found was that trying to physically move the mirror didn't seem to do it much good. If you use the switch to retract the mirror this seemed in my case to free it up. Mine is out of warranty so decided to live with it!

I've tried the switch numerous times but it's just not budging
