    Hi Guys

This is an add on to a previous post (https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...ld-engine-only) in an effort to cure my limp mode. I have been informed that due to my overboost (code p0234) causing limp mode, it may be my actuator rod that needs moving and "freeing " up. ( I have used Forte diesel turbo cleaner - seems to work well whilst that tank of fuel is used and literally stops limp mode from occurring, then when I re-fill with a new tank of fuel and dilute the Forte the limp mode returns?) ???....... not sure why it doesn't stay fixed?!!! so......

Not being particularly mechanically gifted other than doing basic stuff and oil changes, how do I access my actuator rod? Do I need to remove the turbo to do so? I would love to be able to reach it from opening the bonnet and spray some greasing spray on it and move it by hand to free it up a little - please confirm how I can access it and the location of it within the engine bay.

Also, I have read about the "Mr Muscle" treatment to clean out turbo's. If you are not able to do this yourself, does anyone know anyone who could do this and what sort of cost is involved? I am based in Berkshire, nr Slough by the way.

    My car is a 2.0 Tdi, s-line, B7 model.

    Thanks in advance
