Does it say anything about the gearbox or fuel filter? If not I would have them changed.

Get the cambelt checked ASAP. It is supposed to be 5 years or mileage (maybe 75,00 in your case) which ever comes first. If it hasn't been done you are well past it. Check with Audi and if unsure whether it was done, get it changed.

I've checked now and the cambelt was changed at 78k couple of years back and it is now 107k.

what else could be the issue

Had a problem with my 2.0 TDI not pulling under hard acceleration just after I got it , garage had it in and said no fault codes so diagnosed faulty turbo so they removed it & had it reconditioned, still the same so after trying a few other things they gave up and it had to go to another garage who figured out all the issue was that fuel filter needed replacing , did that and was fine .
Not sure if same problem for you but prior to changing filter car drove fine under normal driving, only hesitated when accelerating hard to overtake etc so didn't pick up on it on initial test drive before buying the car

I think you've been advised to get the transmission fluid changed, at 107k it will be coming up to it's 3rd fluid change...if it's never been done then your transmission is liable to fail and cost ££££'s

I'd like a bit more than a 'might' before committing to that job, sounds like you need to check up on your servicing and get a full scan done for starters.
