Buzzing noise from under bonnet

I am no expert, but I suppose it could - I would get all the ducting and securing points checked first

Got a new OEM airbox fitted as the filter alone didn't fully stop the noise & vibration, thankfully the buzzing noise is completely gone but the vibration is still there when I reach 1,500rpm. Which to me means something else is vibrating and that's travelling through to the airbox wearing out the clips / mounts as the old airbox was very loose fitting.

I'm thinking maybe it's time to start pricing a turbo refurb!

I would of thought more like a heat sheild which would cause this

Well it's always around 1500rpm when I feel it in the seat, steering wheel & pedels. It's very faint but enough to annoy me.

Gets a little more noticeable if I put the engine under load and if I drive at any rev below 1400rpm or above 1600rpm the car feels dead smooth again.

Really not sure what's causing it
