RS4 Bucket seats seat belt reminder question

Hi All
New member here who has had somewhat of a nightmare.
Ordered RS4 in March dealer ordered incorrectly, ordered 2nd attempt and guess what wrong again. 3rd time lucky then after just 3 weeks car broke down with starter motor as culprit!
My question I really need help with is that I opted for the RS bucket seats. The passenger seat does not recognise if someone is in the seat, is this normal?
Would really appreciate a fellow RS4 recent owner with bucket seats or someone in the know to give guidance.

Sometimes the passenger seat doesn't have the sensors in it. My A3 doesn't but the A6 does.

If the sensor is fitted you can turn it off and on via VCDS (VW/Audi diag tool).

Thank you for your advice. The RS4 shows it should have a sensor and indeed this is one of the points why the A4 received 5 star NCAP.
So would be great if someone has a RS4 with bucket seats fitted to confirm.
