Q7 sim/ phone issue

Hi there new so not sure I'm posting in the right place I have a 62 plate q7 245 diesel awesome motor I have to say having come from a BMW X5
my car has covered 14000 miles

i have a few issues I will list them and maybe people could advise
first for some reason when I put a SIM card in the car to use the data for the sat nav a wifi in the car on the mmi 3 my phone will not connect to the Bluetooth hands free if I take the sim out it connects fine can any one help with this

when I start the car and take IT from the front of my house and then put it on the drive when I get out and go round to passenger side i see and smell smoke from underneath first I thought it was someone having a garden fire but then noticed it a couple of times !! Thanks for any help in advance 👍

In answer to your first question, I think you have one of the first versions of Audi connect and they wouldn't allow a sim and Bluetooth connection at the same time. I believe there is now a free software updates that has been released that will fix this for you, just drop it into your local dealer.

Thanks for the help my local dealer said there wasn't a fix for it so I will look into this
I am on ECE 5. 13.8 if that helps clarify thsnks
