Flashing glow plug light: High temp bank 1 DPF

I have tested the temp sensor bank 1 at the connector, and measures 210 ohms and rises to 350 when the engine is warm.
The other side of the temp computer measure 5 volts and when shorted is reported with code, which suggests is ok.
What can cause a high temp bank 1 even when the engine is cold.
I have cleared the fault but both DPF and glow flashing light come back.
I have replaced DPF and the sensor PO546, and now run out of ideas.
