MMI Control Panel Backlighting

The backlighting of the buttons on my control panel has failed, anything I could check in the meantime before I get it checked out under warranty?

Are all the buttons out? I've seen individual one fail but not all of them.

The whole lot. The panel itself still works, just all the red backlighting has failed.

I assume you've reset it?
I get this every so often where all the lights on the panel go but all the buttons work
3 button reset and it's back up

It's been doing it the past few days, just haven't got time to post.

Sound like the circuit board is failing, if it's under warranty then just chuck it in with Audi as they around the £600 price new.

I have something similar.
Only the left hand buttons backlighting right hand and selector strip both sides fine- I assumed an LED strip out??
What is the reset to try?

I'll post anything I find out

I'll work my way through the fault as always - although no idea when.
I've only just noticed it, so it's on the List now!
