Hi, am new to this forum don't really know how it works.
But I have a problem with my Audi a3 2004 2.0 fair, it take longer to start 3 to 4 tries or sometime it won't start at all. And drain the battery.. It's also sounds like a diesel but it's a petrol

Not being funny, but would Asda's own engine oil really be of the highest quality? I saw the same deal when I was trying to source a large drum for my car, but got scared off by the fact that these 1.9 pd's need very specific oil, don't want to take any chances hehe.

indeded, there is oil and there is oil that you can put in your pd engine . that not to spec oil might seem cheap until your cam wears out because you have been too tight fisted to maintain a vw.

Don't forget, you can buy re-labelled 20-50 mineral oil in your local Sunday market for a tenner a gallon

No mate, it was just a joking warning to buy from a reputable source. Quantum oil is sold by most VAG main dealers (they use it for servicing) it's nicely priced maybe 20 a gallon. Mineral oil will ruin your PD quicker than a glance from your wife will make you shut up
