Had an invite through the post to an Audi Sport Showcase asking me to call to confirm that I'd like to attend.
"Sod it" I thought, "what have I got to lose?"

Turns out it's a Thank You day to Audi customers, free lunch, unacompannied test drives, kids club for the nippers, Audi merchandise and refreshments.

The best bit, those test drives. 20 minutes a time but sadly limited to 2 vehicles per person.

Me? I have an RS7 and a R8 V10 booked. Oh Lordy Lord I'm so glad I rang them to confirm my attendance!!

I had 2 invites to a similar event at Compton Verney early this year or maybe even last year. They came from yours and my dealers, but I had to decline as I was over the border.

Don't think they'll ask me (or my schizo other half) again!

My guess is they invite you when your car is a couple of years old and you might be thinking of replacing.

Maybe if you buy your cars through DTD like me they don't rush to give you any freebies.

I went to one of these last week in Exeter and took a brand new RS6 out for an hour. Great fun :-D

They had a lot of cars there and there wasn't any pressure to buy. Plus it was held at a castle so we had a free tour of that too.
