    follow chri's advice, don't drive it, get it looked at, preferably at a vag dealer. (vw, audi, skoda, seat). until then you won't know, nor will we, but worse case scenario meas driving it could turn a simple fault into a major one. say its ow on oil and just needs a top up or change, thats cheap. carry on driving it and blow the box up, thats expensive.
    Audi 80 tdi avant with 360,000 miles...

    Hi guys, thought I'd come back and say how I got on, I went to a mechanic who is a friend of the family and he got the fault code 00194 ignition key removal lock, so I presume this isn't as bad as we thought it could of been?

    not a clue what it was called, he attached something to the inside of the car then the error came straight up, something else came up with the heater plugs aswell.

    best way of describing it was like a bigger bulkier version of a tablet computer
