I thought I might need a Q7 for 3 adults 2 children and a dog, but it seems that a Q5 might just do the job, courtesy of the sliding rear seats. So I have just put an offer in on a 3.0 tdi SE. Which has almost every extra as apparently it belonged to a footballer!

Any long term things to look out for on the Q5? Future Q5 owner if things go to plan!

Looks nice. The wife is considering a Q5 or Q7. Need to test driven them though as the 7 is massive!

M1tchy, you will love the Q5. My wife has the 3.0ltr and I love to drive it also. A bit bumpier than the A7 but not much in it. Neebsta, after 10K miles, it has been faultless, unlike the A7 which suffers from rattles.

Thanks, we shall have a test in both and post back when we have.

I know what you mean about rattles in the A7. It's not been to bad over the summer but now it's getting colder it's rattling like mad again!
