    Hi, have a 2002 A6 2.5tdi
Having an error periodically reappearing, "01421 - High Pressure Switch Valve 2 for Electronic Stability Program (N228)" On the panel ABS, ESP and the brake indicator comes up with three beeps. This code is the only one appearing, and come up whenever it wants, it can be after a while or after a week. The internet has not much to offer about this error the only thing i got was from Ross-tech, possible problems:

    • Fuse(s) faulty
    • Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Brake Electronics (J104) faulty
      • Wiring and/or Connector(s) from/to Valve Power Supply faulty

    • Brake Electronics (J104) faulty

The problem kinda cheeped up on me, a year ago I had my multitronic exchanged to a manual gearbox, and recently, at times the abs kicks in when gently applying brakes, Vag-com shows the wheels rotating equally. Don't know if these are related to the error.
Could it be that the ABS module needs to be repaired, similarly with the more common faults?
Would appreciate any feedback, anyone ever has had this kinda error?

Manged to get around the problem. This issue is because of an mechanical problem from the ABS pump, solenoid valves in the pump occasionally get stuck and trow out this type of error and making the abs system not work properly. What the Bosch specialist told me, that it is not repairable, because it can reappear over time (presume he is paid to say this). For me, locally there were no ABS repair specialists like "module master" or "cheap abs repair" who could check the repairability. A new ABS pump costs around 900EUR, got a used one for 1/10 of the price, reprogrammed the module and runs well without issues.
