Central lock works with key.lock/unlock.windows works fine too. so dont see reason to buy new ones just to clear the codes. Only thing is what dis not showing open doors. But thinking or these codes can affect keyfob programing. Coz when i try program my keyfob car blinks at the right moment but after all still won't work.so is keyfob or these codes cause this???

Car needs to know status of if doors are open or not before it will allow remit central locking. No doubt needs to be fault free for it to be programmed usually a prerequisite for the modules to be fault free.... Stop being tight and buy some ;-)

Oh just read whole post....... I'm a purest and wouldn't want codes and would want my dis working..... Then would swop the key

I don't want codes to but 1module cost about 100£ so two is 200£ another 100 and u get new turbo=)) so whats better no codes about doors or turbo?=) budget is tight in my pocket coz saving money to get insurance soon=)

Find a scrappy that doesn't care and lets you take your own parts off then tell him that it's worth next to nowt. Mate got a Saab alarm siren worth 90 for a fiver

I mean they dont let u go by newer cars. And these modules is on a3 8p and a8 from 2004 so u won't find such a cars in scrap yeard.
