    Default Windscreen Wipers not working on wash or single wipe? – 17-09-2014,10:21 AM


    Ok to qualify; the front wipers are not functioning when I try and wash the screen (not water and no wipe) or when I seek to press down on the stalk for a single wipe. They were working yesterday but failed to work this morning as I was setting off.

    Any suggestions?

    At a guess the column mounted wiper/indicator switch unit has failed in someway - could be loose connection, could be worse. A scan might tell you. Units available on eBay for £65 or less.
    2018 (2017MY) S3 2.0TFSI Sportback Quattro S-Tronic in Nano Grey Metallic.

    Black Edition, Reversing camera, Parking System Plus, Hill Hold, Super Sports seats, heated, Dipping exterior mirrors, B&O, Advanced Key, Magnetic Ride, Red Calipers, 19x8J 5-V-Spoke wheels in matte titanium.

    OK so thanks for all. Checked and still not working but strangely the wipe and wash function is now working again???? Only single wipe on malfunction. Going to get it read tomorrow AM. Frustrating......
