    Hi All

About a month ago my heater fan went a bit intermittent and my window washer pump along with it... some journeys they both worked, some they both didn't. It was like this for about a week until they both packed in completely.

I've replaced all the fuses that have any labelling for fan or washer but they still dont work. The washer tank is full of water.

Anyone have any idea's what might cause this ? I've read from here and other places that there's some relays that could be involved in both circuits and can cause this, Where would these be and any idea which would be at fault?

Here's the scan, There's paypal beer tokens involved if anyone can lead me to a fix

P.s. the rear wiper doesnt work either but thats because I think it got blocked up, leaked into its own motor housing and needs a new motor so disregard that. I dont really understand the rest of the stuff on this scan. Seems to be a lot of issues!

    Audi A3 2008 1.9TDI

    Clear error codes, then rescan.

Dpf needs regeneration and new cam posn sensor or the wiring is faulty

    Lots of errors there

    Heya

Yeah the DPF needs regenning all the time, pain in the ****. Every 2 months I have to do a forced one. The codes are cleared, these are the cleared ones. I've scanned about 10 times in the last few months I'm not too worried about the cam position sensor, I have no starting issues with the car, ever. Thankfully

Just the heater and washer I need to know what to do with?

Very helpful. Very helpful indeed. Is this an Audi help forum or a selling site for your signature?

I bought the cable and reader off Amazon and installed the software on the CD provided. Below Amazon order receipts. Take your gripes up with Amazon if you want, order number is attached in the image. Lemme guess, I could have bought the same thing off you for £500 just to look at codes and change the way my doors lock when I go over 10mph. Because THAT's a bargain.

Anyway, if you dont know the answer to the problem that's fine. Raise your post count elsewhere please. Like you have never streamed a football match, watched a dodgy recording or any TV program or listened to any MP3's you didn't buy for the full retail amount.... Like everyone else on the internet, no-one has done anything on the cheap... nup... never. It's fair to take my car to a garage with no knowledge and get robbed blind rather than have a bit of knowledge and not get robbed. I'm pretty sure people who make the VCDS are targetting it to garages, and since I CLEARLY have no knowledge of how my car works I don't own one. By the looks of it I can use VCDS lite to scan my car, I just 1) didnt know it existed until about a week ago, and 2) I used the CD supplied with the order on Amazon like anyone would do.

    Thanks though, a big thanks

Well you can download the latest software & test with this, but if its fake it will render it useless, so best to ask the person lending to you.

It's a VW Audi Forum here to assist everyone with their problems for free.

We are lucky to have Ross Tech (the makers of VCDS) on board to also offer their advice for free. We do not advocate the use of cloned/pirate copies of their software.

Anyone selling a CD with VCDS on it is breaking Ross Tech's T&Cs. The software is available from their site as you've now discovered.

Please download it and run a fresh scan and post up your results for us all to see and hopefully for someone to assist. Sadly, one such person has just been annihilated for daring to protect a brand. I hope the next person who sees this doesn't suffer the same fate.

Edit: You'll note the seller of your cable is based in China (notorious for selling cloned cables/software) and is no longer offering anything for sale - very telling

Considering selling my VCDS KEY-USB interface. If you're interested please contact me via PM or email.
