    I fixed mine yesterday.
    Click this link below as this was my problem;

    no oil getting to tappets - help

    I control my tappets and they are ok.. ;(

    Have you had your timing set up on vcds. A few degrees out can cause alot of problems as ive recently found out with my bora tdi

    You mean the timing crankshaft? i chek this and it's ok...

    I mean the torsion value. It can only be measured with vcds. If its slightly out it can cause problems

    Its not the kw block. I believe its the block beside it. 4th block along that just measures degrees

    Oh that has kw as well. Ive seen them without the kw. That is within spec. Its eliminated that at the least.
    Just for reference my bora had a tuning chip fitted and i recently removed it and it feels like its got no low down power now. Maybe thats just how standard tdi pds feel?

    Also if youve had turbo off has the vnt arm been set at the correct length? It can be too long so the vanes are not working at low rpm
