VW Golf MK4 ''project''

Hello guys and gels,
I am new to this forum and first time VW owner, I am more of BMW guy ( had 7 of them in my life)

I wanted a project for a long long time now, but buying a house delayed all my plans.
Fortunately most of the house work is done and I managed to buy myself a project car, it's not special but I am hoping it will be easy to work on and parts will be readily available and cheap. I will be working on the car only now and then as there is still some house work left and weather is getting worse, days shorter.
So it is a golf mk4 1.6 petrol manual. Didn't get far with it yet.





First I have tackled tail lights.


























And polished with AUTO FINESSE TRIPPLE








Next job was to tidy up wheels, as I wanted to have a look in what condition they are. Didn't scrub them to much as I will be refurbing them anyway.

And THE wheels, just haven't decided yet, should I refurb them in Silver or White.

Well, didn't have much time to spend on Golf, but managed to do renew door handles. Not the best photos as it was getting dark already.

What did you use on those door handles, they look good.

As for the wheels, I like the black stripes

I just cleaned door handles, with dish sponge and rubbed it until all soft touch coating came off.
